Although
70% of the SURFACE of the Earth is covered by water, the total VOLUME
of water on Earth compared to the over-all volume of the Earth itself
reveals that water is much more precious than we were once led to
believe. When you see a visual on just how precious little FRESH
water there is on Earth you really get a sense of how important it is
to protect what fresh water we do have.
