    Mr. Hedges believes in the system. The system that had a bill of slaveowner's rights appended to the constitution, and proceeded with genocide of the natives. A rotten constitution that was shored up against complete collapse by the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth amendments.

    Mr. Hedges believes in democracy: two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for dinner.

    Mr. Hedges believes in the state: in the use of coercive wiolence and force against peaceful non-compliants.
